These 5 ways are proven ways you can make money with your blog because, at some point, I’ve tried all 5 of them to see if there’s potential in investing time and energy into it and it’s worth it.

1.     Google AdSense

Google AdSense is every new blogger’s way of making money when they just start. It’s not super hard to get into but there are lots of rejections if your blog doesn’t meet their criteria.

Google AdSense is a cost per click (CPC) display ad network which means your blog only makes money when someone clicks on an ad.

2.     Offering your Services (Hire Me Page)

Everybody has unique skills and you can offer your skills and services by creating a “hire me” page on your blog where you offer coaching services or offer to work with companies.

3.     Direct Advertisement

This can be a very lucrative option if your site receives a lot of organic traffic, companies would want to advertise on your blog in the form of display ad banners. Depending on your blog’s authority and traffic numbers, you can charge over $500 per banner over a certain period.

4.     Affiliate Marketing

This is the true definition of passive income because you identify a problem, provide a solution to that problem by recommending a product or service and when people purchase using your affiliate link, you earn a commission.

This is so powerful because you can easily scale this option by signing up for more affiliate programs and recommending more products and services.

This is also a form of advertising but instead of a display ad banner, companies would reach out to you, for you to write a review of their product or service in exchange for money, free license codes, free product samples and so much more.
